#1: Your Toothbrush Shouldn’t Last Forever

Your toothbrush should serve you well for around three months to four months. However, it is not crafted to provide you with effective care for any length of time that extends beyond this. When you try to use an exhausted brush, you may not remove as much plaque and food from your smile, which means you’re setting yourself up for decay and other oral health issues.

#2: Your Toothbrush Needs Air

A key factor in protecting your toothbrush? Making sure it gets air after you’ve used it. You don’t want it to remain moist because that means bacteria might have a heyday. Instead, you want to let it dry out naturally, so leave it head-up in a cup for effective protection.

#3: You Don’t Need To Do Something Special

There’s nothing more than rinsing and drying your brush that you need to do to ensure it’s in good shape for your oral health. If someone suggested placing it in a cup of mouthwash, boiling water, or otherwise, don’t worry: It’s not necessary.
